2025 Singlehanded Transpac

The Singlehanded Transpac is a solo ocean race from San Francisco to Hanalei Bay, Kauai — roughly 2,090 nautical miles of open Pacific. No crew, no required stops, no waypoints: just you, your boat, and whatever the North Pacific decides to offer between the Gate and the islands.

The 2025 edition started June 22 from just outside the Golden Gate with a fleet of nine boats. The race draws a mix of small production boats and purpose-built offshore machines, all sailed alone.
